Mr. Andrei Cernat graduated from the Faculty of Law at the University of Bucharest in 2004. Andrei attended the Master’s Degree in Criminal Sciences within the Faculty of Law, which he graduated in 2005. Subsequently, in 2007, he attended courses at the National Defence College. He joined Serban & Asociatii in 2021.
Having been practised over 20 years mainly in the field of criminal law, Andrei has provided legal assistance and representation to both Romanian and foreign individuals and international corporations on a variety of crimes, mainly white-collar crimes, tax evasion, money laundering, fraud, or crimes related to gambling and pharmaceutical industries, as well as real estate law, before various prosecutorial and police units, as well as before all courts of law.
Andrei has also been involved in multiple due-diligence processes, having advised from a criminal law standpoint, as well as in various internal investigations.
Mr. Andrei Cernat is a member of the Bucharest Bar Association and is fluent in English.
