Mr. Cristian Mitrache is an Of Counsel with Serban & Asociatii.
He is specialized in criminal law consultancy, risk analysis and counseling regarding the prevention of criminal exposure. He is an expert in criminal law, having covered a wide array of legal issues from financial and economic offences, work related offences, patrimony offences to organized crime and corruption in such industries as Finance and Banking, Oil & Gas, Services.
Mr. Mitrache has gained valuable expertise in all criminal prosecution related activities (such as: assisting and representing clients before the criminal prosecution bodies, drafting and sustaining complaints against measures taken by the prosecution bodies); in all activities related to the trial phase (such as assisting and representing clients before the court, drafting written conclusions, reasons to appeal and to granting a new trial); in providing clients with an in-depth analysis of all theoretical and practical issues arising; identifying strong arguments in favor of dismissing all criminal charges against the clients, counseling in respect to and drafting of criminal complaints. Furthermore, he is specialized in drafting legal opinions, requests and memorandums.
Since 1996, Mr. Mitrache is part of the Law School of the University of Bucharest, currently teaching as Lecturer. He is also author and co-author for many criminal law studies and papers, he is member in the research team of the study “The Criminal Sentence Enforcement Implications for the International Judicial Cooperation Framework for Criminal Matters” and is also member of the editorial body of the Law Series Magazine of the University of Bucharest. Mr. Cristian Mitrache is a graduate of the Law School of the Bucharest University since 1996 and a member of the Bucharest Bar Association. He has also a PhD in Law since 2004 with the merit magna cum laude. He is fluent in English and French.
