Mr. Mugurel Tataru is a Partner with Serban & Asociatii, head of the Litigation and Arbitration Department. He graduated from the Faculty of Law of the University of Bucharest in 2011. Subsequently, he completed a Master in Private Law (2012) and a Master in International Arbitration (2014), both at the Faculty of Law of the University of Bucharest. He also attended a Master’s degree in Security and Defence at the Faculty of Security and Defence of the National University of Defence Carol I (2019).
With over 12 years of experience, Mugurel provides legal assistance and representation in national and international commercial arbitration cases, civil and commercial litigation, banking law, insolvency, administrative law, public procurement and European funds.
Among the clients he has worked with are major Romanian banking institutions, companies in the energy sector, real estate and transportation. Major projects include the management of significant portfolios of banking litigations, involving the coordination of internal and external teams of lawyers, the representation before public authorities of a major player in the land registry and real estate advertising sector, in regional projects, the management of arbitration disputes.
Mr. Mugurel Tataru is a member of the Bucharest Bar Association and is fluent in English.
